Childhood

He was born on the 19th of February in 1998 in Lagos. This was also where he had his primary and secondary education. His first performance was when he was 16 years old. At the time, he was performing under the name Bello jay. He once said that his parents were the ones who inspired him to make music. His father taught him how to play drums. While in primary school, Damiray decided to form a group with three of his friends. He was very active at school. He used to dance, take part in various singing competitions and represented his school in music-related contests.

The early start of the career

His professional music career has started quite early. When he was in secondary school, he started writing songs. Later he managed to release his first song "Dance floor". his father helped him a lot. He gave him money to pay for his first recording studio session and this continued till his fourth single "Titilayo". Damiray's parents showed much support and love to their son and his music.


His active music career didn’t interfere with his education. He spent nights in the studio, recording new music, and by day he was preparing for school examinations.

Damiray never let his parents down, he wow them with dope songs that makes them want to invest more in his career. Although Damiray is currently under no record label but he never stop pushing. Recently he met Reekado banks @the cool breeze campus Party 2018 that took place in unilag. Today Damiray is on of the most promising art of our time.
